Was it arrogant for humans to invent road rules without the help of a god?

Question
I mean, we needed a god to tell us that we shouldn’t murder, adulterate and steal and we needed a god to tell us that we shouldn’t have sex with animals, but we went ahead and made hundreds of road rules without so much as consulting a god. We used fallible human logic to determine right from wrong driving behavior; what were we thinking? Since when is fallible human logic a good process for determining right from wrong?
Answer
Actually, most road rules are designed to follow the Golden Rule as presented by Jesus, "Do unto others as you would have them do to you." Fallible human logic can retreat to the principles of God in or to make even the speed limits.
